The Fruit Of Disobedience Part I
When your only motivation in life is to achieve the best of this world for yourself alone, then you are on the path of worshiping the things of this world and not God. Our scriptural focus for today states – God will show his anger against those who don’t obey him, because they do these evil things. {Col 3:6 ESV }
The death of Christ on the cross satisfied the anger of God against all humans and addressed the problem of sin as long as this world will exist. But when human beings keep ignoring Christ and His work of redemption and prefers to continuously live in disobedience to God, then a day is coming when the anger of God will be revealed upon such individuals.
It will be important to emphasize that we are living in the dispensation of Grace and this dispensation has seen the highest demonstration of the love and mercy of God. We are no longer in the era when God was presented as an anger God and we as sinners who will be the beneficiaries of His anger. The anger of God is now reserved for those who will delibrately choose to live in disobedience to God during their earthly pilgrimage by rejecting Christ.
Don’t live in disobedience to God, the consequences are unthinkable
