The New Life Realities Part VI
Beloved, by your death to this world through Christ, the devil and sin lost their hold over your life because your New Life is hidden with Christ in God. Our scriptural focus for today states – And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. {Col 3:4 NLT}
We must understand as God’s children, that though we still live in this world that is driven by all manner of corrupt practices, even though our physical bodies may grow weaker as we age, our new and authentic life is Christ.
A day is coming when Christ will again be revealed to this world not as a baby born in a menger but as the Lord and Judge of the whole world. The hope of partaking in the glory of Christ that will be revealed to this world empowers every true child of God to keep himself/herself holy and blameless.
Beloved sharing in the glory of Christ that will be revealed to the whole world is the climax of our earthly pilgrimage. Do not waste your time on earth chasing shadows that will not guarantee you a place in the future glory, rather commit yourself to living out Christ who is your new life and the only guarantee for you to share in His glory.
Sharing in His glory is a personal decision and a walk of faith.
