The New Life Realities Part I
Beloved, to be victorious over the devil you must use God’s mighty weapons and not the worldly weapons of the devil. Our scriptural focus for today states – If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. {Col 3:1 AMP}
When Christ paid the ultimate price, He didn’t just do it alone, the entire humanity dead with Him and the same was applicable to His resurrection. You only receive it when the light of the glorious gospel shines into your life. The salvation experience you went through can be best described as the death and burial of the sinful nature and also the resurrection of a New life in Christ.
Beloved, if you have experienced resurrection with Christ, then you must enhance forth live on this earth to reflect your new state. Because we did not physically die and resurrect with Christ, the devil is working very hard to rob believers of the understanding of the new life Realities in Christ. Note that the responsibility you owe yourself is to understand through the help of the Holy Spirit the meaning of sharing in the dead and resurrection of Christ.
Your dead and resurrection with Christ established your freedom.
