Christ Is The Head Part I
Beloved, as you commit yourself to the purpose of Christ on this earth, there will be oppositions, use them to strengthen your resolve to follow Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – They don’t keep themselves under the control of the head. Christ is the head, and the whole body depends on him. Because of Christ all the parts of the body care for each other and help each other. So the body is made stronger and held together as God causes it to grow. {Col 2:19 ERV}
It will be important to emphasis that those people who insist on different self denial practice’s as conditions for righteousness or justification, are not connected to Christ who is the head of the Body.
Christ is the head of the church and any revelation, dreams or visions that are not totally in agreement with His work, is not from Him. As the head, He determines the flow of information to His body through revelations and visions which in turn defines the direction of the church.
Christ is not just the head of the church alone, He is equally the head of all principalities and power’s, and this He did to empower the church to always enforce His headship over the devil.
