The Supremacy of Christ Part IV
Beloved, the privilege you have to be a child of God is simply rooted in your ability to believe and receive the personality of Jesus Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. {Col 1:18 NLT}
The devil took the authority God gave to humans through deceiving the first man and his wife but still could not assume full control over the entire human race, but Christ gave His body and through that sacrifice He raised for God a new generation of humans, which He(Christ) is the Head of this new generation of people. The devil who will always respond to God’s plans by developing a strategy of deception, is doing same in the church today. He is leading believers to unknowingly rob shoulders with Christ as the Head of the Church. Hear his thoughts that brought him down from his exalted position among the angelic beings created by God – I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High. {Isa 14:14 NLT}.
Beloved no matter the level of prosperity God brings you into or the level of power God chooses to manifest through you, never come to the point where you begin to ascribe the glory that is due Christ as the head of the church to yourself nor allow other people to do same. God declares – My glory will I not share with any man, be remained that the Headship of the Church is His glory and He cannot and will not share it with any human.
The Headship of the Church is His glory.
