The Marks of Freedom Part IX
Beloved don’t allow fear cheat you out of your God given dreams and visions, because God is bigger than anything you’re currently worried about. Our scriptural focus for today states – As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died. {Gal 6:14 NLT}
As believers in Christ, His cross has afforded us the beautiful and privileged life here on earth that the devil thought was impossible. It is in the place of the cross that our minds/hearts are transformed to reflected our new status in the spiritual equation of the life that now is and that which is to come. It is the transformation that occurred in the life of Apostle Paul through the cross of Christ that gave rise to this life changing statement – ‘My interest in this world has been crucified’.
The point at which a believer in Christ can boldly say – My interest in this world has been crucified, then spiritual transformation has occurred as Christ intended.
Beloved you must come to the point in your spiritual development were your interest in this world is crucified, because their are so many interest in this world seeking to distract you from the purpose of Christ. Therefore you must deliberately cooperated with the Holy Spirit to root out the interest of this world that has already found its roots in your life before your salvation experience. When your interest in this world has been crucified by your walk of obedience with the Holy Spirit, then you become heavenly conscious and earthly relevant.
The interest of this world is cancerous.
