Bearing Burdens Part IV

Beloved, when you allow godly desires influence your decision making process and actions, then your spiritual development will be speedy and stable. Our scriptural focus for today states – Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. {Gal 6:1 NLT}
The process of helping a brother/sister back on their feet spiritually requires a lot of carefulness and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We say carefulness because no believer in Christ has gotten to the point where they can no longer be tempted, and we all still have the ability to fall into temptations. That is why no matter how long a person has been a believer in Christ, the devil still believes he can cause such person to backslide. Never come to a point where you trust in the number of years you have been a believer in Christ or in the spiritual development you have made so far as the basis for your continuous standing in the faith. The Holy Spirit is still the reason you’re standing in the faith.
Never see any sin as too small for you to be a victim of, but see all sins as the same and always rely on the support of the Holy Spirit to always be victorious. Hear this admonition – If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. {I Cor 10:12  NLT}
Those believers in Christ who fell into any kind of sin never prepared or intended to do so, but they allowed the devil take advantage of their on guided moments. We are required by God to help bear the burdens of the spiritual development of other believers, because no body is an island of knowledge and power, but we must do it with utmost spiritual sensitivity.

Spiritual sensitivity is the key to helping others.

Have a Grace filled day – Good New Awaits you.
