Building godly Relationships Part II
Beloved, be rest assured that God knows all your needs, so quite worrying about your needs and focus on pleasing God with your life daily, God got your life all planned out. Our scriptural focus for today states – But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. {Gal 5:15 NLT}
It is a wonderful sight and very pleasant to see brethren living and working together in unity. It takes the understanding that God saved you and kept you here on earth to represent Him and to equally advance the course of His kingdom to be able to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to first be at peace within yourself and to extend same to others. When you as a believer in Christ allows the devil to steal your peace and joy, definitely you will be unsettled within yourself and that will pave the way for the devils actual plan either in your family, church, office or community.
When you bit and devour yourself with the excuse that your life is not working out as you thought, bear in mind that, that is the beginning of biting and devouring others. In order for the devil to succeed in making you bit and devour one another, he will make you to start seeing your brother/sister as an enemy, who does not have your good at heart. The purpose of the biting and devouring of one another either in the family, church, office or community is to create divisions and introduce party spirit. Hear the words of the Master – Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. {Matt 12:25 NIV}
Sometimes the devil deceives believers into thinking that we are doing God a great favour when we bit and devour one another, and this fuels most crises in the family and church.
Stop the biting, Stop the devouring Now.
