Don’t Miss The Track Part V
Selfishness is the outcome of a weak value system, but loving and caring for others is a position of power and divine strength beyond anything we can possibly imagine. Our scriptural focus for today states – I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teachings. God will judge that person, whoever he is, who has been confusing you. {Gal 5:10 NLT}
As the Holy Spirit works in the lives of Christians to keep them from believing false teaching, He will not just stop at that, because false teaching is the greatest threat to the truth of the gospel of Christ. False teaching is aimed at casting doubt on the truth and causing confusion in the lives of humans. False teachings equally introduces alternatives. Therefore God will judge those who have made themselves available to the devil knowing or unknowingly to crusade false teachings/doctrines in the Body of Christ. Some have ventured into false teachings/doctrines in the bid to teach what some people want to hear which is not in agreement with the truth of the gospel of Christ, while there are others who have willingly offered themselves to the devil to be used in planting confusion in the Body Christ just for the momentary reward of fame, popularity and wealth.
Beloved, God is no respecter of persons, whatever is the motivation behind any person who plants the seed of false teachings/doctrines in the Body of Christ, will not be the concern of God but judgement awaits such individuals.
Be careful what you preach/teach because a day is coming when you will give account of it before God. That day is God’s judgement day, on that day you will have no excuse for misleading people into false beliefs. You can start afresh, you can give yourself truly to the study of the Bible again and trust the Holy Spirit to illuminate your heart/spirit with the truth of the gospel of Christ.
God will judge false teachers, no matter their positions/title in the Church.
