Christ The Liberator Part V

If you want to always be in the will of God for your life, then you must always allow your mind/spirit to run your body. Never allow your body tell your mind/spirit what to do. Our scriptural focus for today states – But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us. {Gal 5:5  NLT}.
When a believer in Christ lives his/her daily life by faith, depending on the guidance that the Spirit of God supplies, he/she lives in the sphere of God’s grace. When you live by grace, you depend on the power/enablement of the Holy Spirit, but choosing to live under the law, you must depend on yourself and on your own efforts. Apostle Paul draws the attention of the Galatian Christians to the fact that there are two ways of living on this earth. A person can either choose to live by the Spirit or choose to live by the flesh (the law). But he says – Those who choose to live by the Spirit no longer look to the law as the source of their righteousness, rather such people eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised all those who will look unto Christ for spiritual help. Living by the Spirit does not mean cutting relationships with other humans, especially with those who have not opened their hearts to Christ, rather it means living like Jesus Christ on this earth through the support and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Beloved God has promised all who will come to Christ, a glorious life of righteousness by faith, but if you choose to come to Christ and refer to live by the law, you have deliberately denied yourself of that privileged life of righteousness by faith that God offers. Always remember that whatever God has promised humans, He has the capacity to make it happen.
The glorious life of righteousness by faith is a promise and not a right and when you meet the condition, which is faith in the finished work of Christ, you’re entitled to receive and enjoy that promised life during your earthly pilgrimage.

Live by the Spirit and enjoy the promised life.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
