Today we continue our series on – Steps To Achieving Excellence. Before we continue, What is Excellence – It is the quality of being excellent in the things you do. It is natural for humans to constantly speak in admiration of those who were excellent in whatever they were doing. These could be students who achieved academic excellence, successful business people, top athletes, celebrities, and so on. Envy aside, no one ever spent any time to think about why or how these people achieved excellence. It is seemingly natural for most people to just accept that certain people were meant for excellence while others weren’t. This is a dummy that was sold to many, even believers. Follow us on this journey and discover that you too can achieve Excellence in the things you do.
3. Believe In Yourself
Believing in yourself is very paramount to every success you hope to achieve. You need to first believe in yourself to get somewhere and don’t wait for other people to believe in your vision before you start having the feeling of achieving it. If you don’t develop your self-confidence through the grace Christ has made available to you, no one will believe in you. Hear this – For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. {Phil 4:13 NLT}.
Whenever you experience low self-belief or low self-esteem in the pursuit of your vision, remember you have been empowered by Christ to excel, then cast your mind back to the times when you achieved something, regardless of how big or small it was. From there, build up your confidence and leverage on it as you pursue your goals. As you begin to see results, your confidence will increase over time, which will create an upward spiraling effect. Do not be intimated by other peoples success, do not accept your disadvantaged for any reason, work at improving yourself. Believe in yourself, Believe that vision is achievable through you.
You can be the Best.
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
