True Citizenship IV
He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. {Phil 3:21 NLT}
The believers name is written in the Book of Life and this is what determines our final entrance into heaven our eternal home. When you confess and live for Christ here on earth, He in turn will confess your name and present you in heaven as a returning Ambassador. Our scriptural focus for today states – He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
When Christ returns again to this earth in power, He will subdue everything or bring everything under His control. It is this great power that is vested in Him, that He will use to bring about the great transformation that the believer will experience in eternity.
No creature, not even the devil and his cohorts has the power to bring all things under their control. Christ is the only one approved by God after His death and resurrection to exercise such power and authority on earth and in heaven. Hear Him say it – Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. {Matt 28:18 NLT}.
It is the same power that will subdue all things and change the corrupted bodies of believers into a glorious one in eternity that Christ has currently made available to the believer to also start subduing the things around him/her that tries to exalt themselves above the knowledge of God. There is a glorious prospect awaiting the weak and dying believer in eternity, my dear do all by the help of the Holy Spirit to be part of it. Do not be in the company of careless believers, religious people and unbelievers that will have regrets when they go into eternity.
His power subdues everything.
