For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. {Phil 1:19 NLT}
Trials and sometimes unpleasant situations are part of the process deployed by the Lord to carry believers through on our earthly pilgrimage. Our scriptural focus for today states – For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. This definitely was not apostle paul’s final imprisonment in Rome, while awaiting court trail and judgement, he knew he could either be freed or executed. In the mist of all this, he still had his trust in two very important components of the christian faith;
1. The prayers of the brethren
2. The Spirit of Christ (The Holy Spirit)
He never gave up on Christ nor on the power of the gospel, he relied on this two components, and believed that his deliverance was insight. It was very assuring and a good example to be emulated that the brethren stood with him in prayer during this trying time of his life and ministry.
As a believer, when you go through unpleasant situations that challenge your life and your faith in Christ, rely on this two very important components that apostle paul relied on, to also bring you to the side of victory. Hear this – Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. {James 5:16 NLT}. Its very important we learn as believers to pray for one another and to also build our personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, so that you can always approach Him to obtain help and find grace in times of need.
Unpleasant situations works for our good
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
