Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. {Eph 5:17 TLB}
Our daily activities must be carried out in such a way that it portrays only the wisdom of God resident in us as believers. Our scriptural focus for today says – Don’t act thoughtlessly, it simply means don’t act foolishly or unwisely. Our actions as believers should not in anyway be seen as thoughtless or foolish because we have the Holy Spirit resident in us and He is the source of all wisdom. So its very important you think through your actions by the help of the Holy Spirit before you do them, because if it turns out foolish you will be embarrassing both God and yourself. Instead of acting thoughtlessly, try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to do. Sometimes, what the Lord would want you to do may appear foolish, unwise or even thoughtless in your own eyes and even in the eyes of those around you, but bear in mind that the supposedly foolishness of God is wiser than all the wisdom of men. If you make what the Lord will want you to do at all times a topmost priority in your life, then be sure you will always act in divine wisdom.
Doing the will of God is the greatest display of divine wisdom on this earth.
