But when you expose them, the light shines in upon their sin and shows it up, and when they see how wrong they really are, some of them may even become children of light! {Eph 5:13 TLB}
Having been reminded as believers, that our responsibility is to expose evil wherever we find it and that we should never take part in it. Our scriptural focus for today highlights the advantages of exposing the worthless deeds of evil in our generation. Bear in mind that evil{darkness} can only be exposed by the light, and the Bible says that you are a carrier of that Divine light. When you shine the light of Christ in you on evil{darkness}, 1. It reveals the various acts of sin practiced around you, 2. It will lead to conviction of sin and 3. It will definitely lead to Salvation. My friends, this is the actual assignment God has given to everyone who has the life of Christ in him/her to accomplish for Him on this earth. If you have being allowing compromise, timidity, fear, the cares of this world, ignorance etc to hinder your light from shining in darkness, its time to stop. Don’t hide your light anymore, let it shine for all to see. The more you shine the light of Christ in you in this world, the more Profits God makes, the more blessed you’re and vice versa.
Living in the light is the only antidote for darkness
