Take no part in the worthless pleasures of evil and darkness, but instead, rebuke and expose them. {Eph 5:11 TLB}
Currently in our world, staying true to the biblical teachings and practice of Christianity has come under great attack, because the devil wants believers to live a compromised Christian life. Our scriptural focus for today states clearly – Take no part in the worthless pleasures of evil and darkness. Take no part also means have no fellowship, as a believer, you should not be seen taking part in the unfruitful pleasures of evil and darkness whether in the secret or in the open. This life of compromise that has taken the center stage in the church is called “Pleasures” because there are benefits the devil is suggesting you will derive but God refers to such benefits as worthless, unfruitful, and lacking in usefulness. Do not build your life on this statement – The end justifies the means, because it is a philosophy that is based on compromise and not on scriptural principles. As believers we will face difficult circumstances that challenge our faith, please always choose to stand on biblical principles, don’t accept the pleasures of the devil which is just for a season.
You can’t use worldly principles to achieve godly results
