For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!. {Eph 5:8 NLT}
As a believer, you’re no longer in darkness, rather you are now in the Light because of the work of Christ. The light as stated in our scriptural focus is not the physical light but rather the spiritual light which is the life of Christ. After the resurrection of Christ, His Life became the light of men that conquers any spiritual darkness. If the darkness is having an upper hand in your life, it means that you are yet to understand the superiority of the light of Christ over the darkness of the devil. So live as people of light is the responsibility you have been given as a believer. You’re to shine the light of Christ wherever you go to, especially where their is darkness. Living on earth as people of Light is first an issue of understanding, because until you understand with both your Heart and Mind that you carry the Light of Christ, you will never live as a person of Light. The Light of Christ has actually empowered you to live a victorious life here on earth, but you must deliberately choose and begin to live as one that has been empowered.
You’re a Superior being, because you live in the Light of Christ.
