For when you are angry, you give a mighty foothold to the devil. {Eph 4:27 TLB}
It is obvious we are not immuned from getting angry as believers, but the dangers of holding onto offence is enormous. There is also no biblical justifications for a believer to live in anger always. ‘For when you are angry, you give a mighty foothold to the devil’ is a critical statement that you must keep in mind as a child of God. There are things that opens humans up to the devil, and anger is one of them. Seeing that anger has the potency to open up a believer to the activities of the devil, it is therefore very important you do all within your reach to put it under control. The devil carries out his activities in the minds and thoughts of humans, and when you are anger, you are most vulnerable to the activities of the devil. Humans do unthinkable things when they are angry, and that is the Mighty foothold our scriptural focus for today is drawing your attention to.
Anger makes humans vulnerable to the devil.
