He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. {Eph 4:16 NLT}
As believers, we take our lead from Christ who is the source of everything we do. The church is joined together into One Body because Christ is our foundation and source. As a part of this great Body, you have a responsibility to be effective in your own assignment, because your effectiveness helps other parts of this great Body to grow well. The overall aim of Christ is to have a healthy and growing/maturing church that is full of godly love. You have a role to play as a believer to enable the church come to this point. Christianity is not about the success of a particular denomination, but its about the fulfilment of the purpose of Christ for dying on the cross.
