In reply Jesus said to the disciples, “If you only have faith in God—this is the absolute truth—you can say to this Mount of Olives, ‘Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean,’ and your command will be obeyed. Just as our earthly parents loves speaking with their children, even so does God enjoy always speaking with His own children. Prayer is a major source of our communication with God.
Sometimes due to the challenges we go through on our earthly pilgrimage, we are tempted to feel that He{God} doesn’t answer our prayers.
Hear God – I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life. 14 And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. 15 And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us. {1John 5: 13 – 15 TLB}
Facts To Note

Never neglect God’s word even if you think it sounds so foolish to your human understanding.
Following God is just like walking in a fog. we can only see one or two steps in front of us, but as we take those steps the next ones become clearer.
Always know that God cannot bring you into something He hasn’t been preparing you for.
Some things that can cause delay
1. Having a limited understanding of His words spoken to us.
2. Pressures and circumstances that seem to last long thereby making us to turn off our faith.
3. Lack of trust/confidence in God and His word
4. Walking in Error
We can learn to trust God if we grow consistently in our knowledge of Him. The more of Him {God} you know and experience personally, the more you will reflect Him in all you do. It will become part of your nature never to ask amiss because the Spirit leads your decisions and your prayer.
