For so long now, the gospel has been preached, many have been saved and yet some are yet to be. Christians whose faith are rooted in God still pass through trials and challenges for the sake of the gospel of Christ. It may seem so foolish and not understandable by many but to those who believe it is the power of God. {The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. 1cor.1:18 NLT}.
God is glorified when we overcome challenges and trials and believe me, it makes the devil so mad and frustrated howbeit, it doesn’t make him to give up.
There is a story of some Christians going for an outreach and somehow encountered an accident, however no life was lost. When these Christians came out of the vehicle, they began praising God and singing to His praise. Men who gathered were all surprised and marvelled at how they gave praises to God in the midst of that challenge. In the midst of the furnace, Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego never gave up their trust in God. Dan.3:16-18.
Why do some Christians never falter amidst such trials? {This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. 1cor.1:25 NLT} ‘because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men’.
Hear this – God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through. {Num.23:19 NLT} He is a Trustworthy God, that is the pride of Christians!!
