God’s Ambassador Part VIII
Beloved it is obvious that the devil works through unpleasant situations to trick the Believer into living a life of worry and anxiety, this you must resist. Our scriptural focus for today states – And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. {Col 3:15 NLT}
It is very obvious that there are other sources of peace to a human life, for example – the availability of abudant finances, the availability of the comfort’s this life can offer like – good cars, good house’s, a good job/business etc. As good as these things are to the human life, the Holy Spirit says they should not be the source of your peace as a believer in Christ.
The peace that comes from Christ is a spiritual virtue and it is not based on the availability or non-availability of the good things that are available in this world. Hear Jesus talk about His peace – “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. {Jn 14:27 NLT}
Beloved it will be important to understand that the peace that Christ alone can give to your life is a Gift. Please remember that a gift is something you did not work for or got on merit, rather it is a show of love from the giver. The gift of peace of mind and heart is Free from Christ, receive it today and let it be a permanent cure for worry and anxiety in your life.
