The Supremacy of Christ Part VII
Beloved, the peace of this world comes only from the availability of the good things of this life, but the peace of God comes from having the personality of Christ in your life. Our scriptural focus for today states – And through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. {Col 1:20 NLT}
The love of God for the entire human race is unexplainable, unthinkable and beyond human comprehension. His decision to live in Christ in order to reach humans can only be an act of love. That the devil stole the authority and dominion God gave humans over this earth and subsequently put the entire creation of God in enmity with God, did not in any way make God hate humans and as a result abandoned humans in the hands of the devil. His love for humans still knew no bounds, as He kept looking for ways to restore humans back to Himself and back to their place of authority and dominion.
Therefore through Christ, God reconciled everything to himself, this means that through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, God made peace between Himself and the entire creation. It will be important to state that through the peace Christ achieved between God and humans, God is No Longer Angry With Anyone Living On This Earth after the Death and Resurrection of Christ. Having reconciled Everything to Himself, He is not angry or in enmity with humans anymore, you can only decide to reject His peace initiative. We are no longer living in the era of sinners in the hands of an angry God, rather we are living in the era of saints in the hands of a loving Father.
God has made peace with His creation, accept that peace.
