The Secret of Contentment V

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. {Phil 4:13  NLT}

All of nature depends on hidden resources in the earth to flourish, likewise every believer depends on the hidden spiritual resources of God to flourish on this earth but you must access it by faith. Our scriptural focus for today states – For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Apostle Paul’s declaration of faith ‘I can do everything’ – includes handling the most difficult situations [poverty] and living in abundance. This is not an expression of pride in his own abilities, rather he is only able to do this by depending solely on the spiritual Strength that Christ supplies daily in his life.
It will be important to note that your daily victories as a believer is based on how you’re able to depend solely on the inner spiritual strength that Christ supplies. If you don’t derive your strength from the strength of Christ by faith, you will definitely bow to the pressures of life that intends to destroy your faith and confidence in God.
This scripture also reveals that the believer has all the spiritual power within that he/her needs to adequately handle the depends/pressures of life. Sometimes we experience failures as believers when we start trusting our own faithfulness and looking away from the Faithful One {Christ}, who alone supplies the spiritual strength we need to be victorious. Learn to draw on the abundant spiritual resources of Christ, because Christ has made it available to you, to ensure you live a life that is not controlled by the pressures of this life.

Let your motto be – I can through Christ.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
