Yes, I am still needed down here, and so I feel certain I will be staying on earth a little longer, to help you grow and become happy in your faith; {Phil 1:25 TLB}
The life of a believer here on earth should be that of a joyful progressive spiritual growth and advancement, because we are not of them that draw back onto perdition. Our scriptural focus for today states – Yes, I am still needed down here, and so I feel certain I will be staying on earth a little longer, to help you grow and become happy in your faith; The discovery of purpose is essential to the decisions you will take and the successes you will record under God has a believer. Apostle Paul by virtue of purpose understood that he was still needed here on earth by both the church and for the advancement of the work of the Lord. He was willing to help the brethren grow into spiritual maturity in their faith, and also to become happy/excited about their faith in Christ.
As a believer, have you discovered your importance through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to your generation, or do you still see yourself as someone that has nothing to offer to his/her generation. Apostle Paul as a trailblazer, leaves us with a great example and inspiration. Remember at this point he was still in prison, yet he declares – I AM STILL NEEDED DOWN HERE. My beloved, no matter how bad or good life has become, you may have even lost your vision, motivation and purpose for living, you may even have gone down the ladder of life like apostle paul, or worse case scenario you may even be at zero at the moment, Hear the word of the Lord – YOU’RE STILL NEEDED ON THIS EARTH. Make sure you convince yourself of this truth, because if you do, God will both bring you out of such situations and most importantly will use you and your story to encourage, strengthen and put smiles on the faces of other believers.
Making the best out of others should be our motivation for living.
