God’s Ambassador Part IX
Beloved, the peace that comes from Christ is a spiritual virtue and it is not based on the availability or non-availability of the good things that are available in this world. Our scriptural focus for today states – And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. {Col 3:15 NLT}
The peace that Christ offer’s the Believer is not available in this world, it only comes into a human life through the presence of the Holy Spirit in such a life. So if you have the Holy Spirit you equally have the peace that Christ alone can give.
The peace that Christ gives is for the body of Christ and He expects us to live out that peace. Living in peace as members of One Body is not optional, rather it is one of the differentiating mark’s of our new life in Christ. The devil is working very hard to ensure that the Body of Christ is not in peace and he works majorly along denominational belief’s. This we all must understand as members of One Body and do all within our reach through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to resist.
Beloved we all must bear in mind that irrespective of the different denominations we may belong to, Christ has called us to live in peac and we must be thankful for this great privilege.
Living in peace is our calling in Christ
