All my prayers for you are full of praise to God!  When I pray for you, my heart is full of joy. {Phil 1: 3 – 4  TLB}

In Christ and not in the world should we as believers find true satisfaction and contentment, because we have escaped the corruption that has its root in all forms of lust in this present world. Our scriptural focus for today states - All my prayers for you are full of praise to God! When I pray for you, my heart is full of joy. Apostle Paul’s mention of praises to God and joy in his prayers for the Philippian church is very significant, remembering that he was writing this letter from prison. He never allow the current circumstance to affect his attitude and christain conduct. Finding joy and the ability to be full of praises to God for whose cause you’re going through an unpleasant circumstance can only come from God also.
The conventional position humans quickly take when found in an unpleasant circumstance in the discharge of their God given assignment is to among others;
1. Complain
2. Murmur
3. Chicken out
4. Focus our prayer on the devil etc
But for Apostle Paul, the focus of his prayer for the Philippian church was praises to God and joy unspeakable. He sets before every believer a perfect example of true Christian prayer even in the face of unpleasant circumstances. Learn to also pray for others always, as exemplified by Apostle paul and do it with praises to God and joy unspeakable on their behalf. May praying for others gladden your heart and spirit, not just for those who have done you good, but also for those who may have despitefully used you.

Prayer should actually be an act of praise to God and joy unspeakable.
