Don’t Follow Rules Part II
Beloved, it is your personal responsibility to love and care for others the way Christ loved and cares about you. Our scriptural focus for today state’s – Let no one defraud you by acting as an umpire and declaring you unworthy and disqualifying you for the prize, insisting on self-abasement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions [he claims] he has seen, vainly puffed up by his sensuous notions and inflated by his unspiritual thoughts and fleshly conceit. [Col 2:18 Amp ]
It will be important to state that Christ is the only One that has the exclusive right to declare a human unworthy and also able to disqualify us from the price. If He has not declared you unworthy, nor disqualified you for the price, then don’t allow any human, nor any religious system that insist on self-abasement and worship of angels do so to you.
Christianity is not about self-abasements(self-denials), nor is it about the worship of angels, rather Christianity is the life of Christ made available to humans to live in victory over sin and the devil. You are not righteous because you practice the religious principles of self-denial, because it is about rules and regulations and not after the life of Christ.
Christ is the source of your freedom
