Grace Revealed Part VII
Beloved, the will of God is that all whom He has begotten in Christ, will be a reflection of the person and character of Christ on this earth. Our scriptural focus for today states – So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. {Col 1:28 NLT}
As you teach the love of Christ to the world around you through the revealed wisdom of God made available to us in the person of the Holy Spirit, He will guide you into all truth. Our purpose for labouring over human lives both in preaching/teaching and praying for such persons is to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ.
Presenting to God men and women who were sinners from birth but by their contact with Christ has been transformed into Saints is the goal of true Christianity. So its one thing to present Christ to sinners, it is actually the main thing to ensure that they are established in the faith as saints of God.
Ensuring that those we are privileged to disciple for Christ are built up by sound gospel which will place them on path of perfection is the responsibility the kingdom of God has placed on all its true children. Our relationship with Christ is the most valuable asset God has given to us as humans on this earth, therefore we must put in our best to maintain it and to help others maintain their own relationship with Christ as well.
Value your relationship with Christ, make it perfect.
