Spiritual Dignity Restored Part IV
Those that have learnt to leave everything that concerns them in the hand of God based on their discovery of God through the Bible, will definitely see the hand of God in every aspect of their lives. Our scriptural focus for today states – And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father. {Gal 4:6 NLT}
The love of God that unified as many who will receive Jesus Christ into their lives as one big happy family, made us His children. We are no longer bastards without a spiritual heritage, now we have become the children of God. We lost our godly heritage because of sin, but the unexplainable love of God restored it back to us. God went further to demonstrate His unconditional love to the human race by sending the Spirit of His Son(The Holy Spirit) to dwell in the hearts of every believer. By this singular act, He(God) filled the spiritual vacuum created after the fall of man and filled it with His Spirit. This explains why a child of God who has the Holy Spirit living inside him/her cannot be possessed by any demon/evil spirit because the presence of the Holy Spirit in any life denies access to any other spirit.
The word Abba is an Aramaic word for father. The way it is used in this scripture expresses the deep emotions that can now be expressed by believers towards God because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. These were part of the privileges that eluded humans but through the presence of the Holy Spirit, we can now connect to God from the deep recesses of our hearts/spirit.
This is how spiritual communication occurs between God and the human spirit in the place of prayer. We can now boldly say – God speaks to us as our spirit cries out to Him(God) through His Spirit in us, what a sweet fellowship, what a show of love, what a great privilege we have in Christ.
The Spirit of His Son is our only access to Spiritual communications
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
