The Message Of Christ Part II
As Believers in Christ, we must learn to read/study the Bible from the perspective of the finished work of Christ, especially the old testament. Our scriptural focus for today states – Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. {Col 3:16 NLT}
The message about Christ is the good news of the redemption of the entire human race from the bondage of sin and the devil. The devil held the entire human race in bondage through the sin of Adam and Eve, but “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. The demonstration of the love of God through Jesus Christ to humans is the message of Christ.
The richness of this message is contained in the unexplainable transformation of a sinner into a SAINT. This both the world system and the devil has found very difficult to comprehend. Beloved it is very important we understand that the message about Christ is not that of condemnation but the only channel through which humans can find eternal salvation, safety and freedom in this world.
Christ came to save and not to condemn
