Building godly Relationships Part I

Beloved, repentance from sin is not a religious requirement for church membership, rather it is a change of lifestyle from darkness and all its consequences to Light and all its privileges. Our scriptural focus for today states – But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. {Gal 5:15 NLT}
The ultimate desire and purpose of God is that His children irrespective of their tribe, age, educational attainment or financial status will genuinely live and work together in his vineyard in love and peace. Most times God’s children do not see and understand this as one of His purposes for creating the church and blessing us with human relationships. It will be important to emphasize that a loving and peaceful human relationship whether in the family, church, office, or in the community is the bedrock for prosperity and progress.
The devil knows this and many more of God’s wonderful plans for His children, so in order to hinder God’s purpose in the lives of His children, he(the devil) introduces all manner of backbiting, backstabbing and things that are capable of destroying such relationships that were meant to advance the purpose of God here on earth and in return better the lives of His children.
The relationships God brings His children into either in marriage, the church or in the community is first aimed at advancing His kingdom here on earth and secondly to be a channel of blessing His children through the opportunities and privileges He(God) will create in that relationship.
We bit and devour one another when we allow the devil poison our hearts/spirit towards one another by sometimes magnifying a particular misunderstanding and taking it out of proportion or when we allow the devil misrepresent the good intentions of our brothers/sisters.
Hear this – How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony. {Ps 133:1  NLT}

Don’t allow the devil destroy your relationships.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
