God’s Peace Initiative Part I
Beloved, always remember that the quality of your decisions and the subsequent implementation, determines the quality of life you will enjoy on this earth. Our scriptural focus for today states – This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. {Col 1:21 NLT}
Through the shedding of the righteous blood of Christ on the cross, God made peace with all humans, what a spiritual mystery that even the devil could not understand. Friend’s the devil is not all knowing and as powerful as he is been portrayed in our generation. If the devil and all his demons had understood that through the process of humiliating Christ on the cross, you and I who were died in sin, i mean not just the sin of Adam and Eve but our own sins, would now be made right with God on the basis of grace and not on our own works of righteousness, they would not have crucified Christ, rather they would have done all within their reach to make Him(Christ) so comfortable on this earth and would have equally lured Him into living the life of sin.
Beloved it does not matter how far you were from God – for instance even if your grand fathers or father was a native doctor or yourself had been involved in unspeakable acts of wickedness or the village you come from is known for great wickedness, these things cannot change the fact that you’re very much included in the peace initiative of God in Christ Jesus. Hear this – it is not the greatest of one’s acts of wickedness/sin that excludes that person from the Peace Initiative of God in Christ, rather it is the inability of that person to freely receive by Faith what Christ has done that actually excludes any one.
God’s peace initiative on this earth includes you.
