And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. {Phil 1:6  NLT}

The fact remains that, it is God who initiates the work of salvation in the life of human beings, who continues it and will one day bring it {salvation} to its final consummation. Our scriptural focus for today states – And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. The phrase Good Work as used by Apostle Paul, refers to the whole process of saving humans from the bondage of sin and eternal damnation. Gods work for you began when Christ died on the cross to purchase your eternal freedom. Hear this – When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. {Rm 5:6 NLT}
It is the responsibility of the Holy Spirit to ensure that this Good Work you have received, will continue throughout your stay on this earth and consummate it when you meet God in glory. This underscores how serious you should take your personal relationship with the Holy Spirit here on earth if you want to actually make it to your final destination which is Heaven.
You have the same assurance God gave the Philippian church through Apostle Paul, that His own part of ensuring you walk in righteousness while on this earth will be fully kept. You may sometimes feel discouraged, incomplete, distressed, even doubt your salvation because of your shortcomings, be rest assured that the Holy Spirit will take you through the process of spiritual growth and finish the work in grand style.

Gods promise is always sure – you’re the only one that can stop it.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
