Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. {Eph 4:21 – 22 NLT}
My dear friend, hearing and learning the truth about Jesus Christ should cause definite changes in your life. God expects you to deliberately throw away your old sinful nature and your former life style, which has its roots in corruption, lust and deception. Make no mistake about this, everyone born into this world after the fall of Adam and Eve, were born into sin and as such has the sinful nature in them. Jesus came to deliver humans from this sinful nature that can never please God. You can only achieve this purpose of God in your life by allowing Jesus teach you through the scriptures His ways and the New lifestyle of righteousness. Corruption, lust and deception are the principal vehicles of sin, as a believer you should not accommodate them in your life.
You must let go of the old for the New to come.
