Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand safe against all strategies and tricks of Satan. {Eph 6:11 TLB}
There are two major errors of spiritual warfare around Christian circles today;
1. Over emphasis on demons/witches
2. Under emphasis or nonrecognition of the activities of demons.
Some believers blame every problem, conflict or sin on the activities of demons, while others either ignore it, if not completely. Our scriptural focus for today states – Put on all of Gods armor so that you will be able to stand safe against all strategies and tricks of satan. It will be very important to note that it is your personal relationship with through Christ that confers Authority on you over the devil. To either over emphasize the activities of demons or to under emphasize/ignore the activities of demons on this earth, are all the strategies and tricks of the devil to derail believers. The Bible says – put on all of God’s armors – this phrase confers the responsibility on believers, to see to it that they always dress themselves 🙂 with all the armors available in God’s armoury. The purpose is to be able to stand against all the strategies and tricks of the devil. Gods armors protects believers from the onslaught of the devil, so you as a believer should concern yourself more with putting on the armors of God that protects you, rather than buying into the strategies and tricks of the devil that has taken the center stage in churches today, which only satisfy the human selfish desires but leave believers, weak, unprotected and defeated in every spiritual battle.
The only antidote for the strategies and tricks of the devil is the whole armor of God.
