Freedom in Christ Part I

Even that question came up only because of some so-called Christians there—false ones, really—who were secretly brought in. They sneaked in to spy on us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to enslave us and force us to follow their Jewish regulations. {Gal 2:4  NLT}

You can’t go back and change the past, no matter how good or bad it was but you can start now by making godly and wise decisions and be sure you will build a great future. Our scriptural focus for today states – Even that question came up only because of some so-called Christians there—false ones, really—who were secretly brought in. They sneaked in to spy on us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to enslave us and force us to follow their Jewish regulations.
Apostle Paul, referring to the subject of circumcision, said it should not have been mentioned among them but for those who pretended to be Christians, but are false following their conduct and knowledge of the new way of life Christ has brought. When a person keeps insisting on the old ways of doing things as contained in the law which opposes the new ways of living that Christ has introduced in His church, that person can be regarded as a false Christian. The ability to always know and aline yourself with what Christ is doing in His church per time, is what actually singles you out as His true child here on earth.
The aim of these false Christians, who do not share the same message and purpose with the church was to take away the freedom they shared in Christ.
In our generation, some people have also been secretly brought in, who don’t share the same message and purpose with the church of Jesus Christ but their aim is to spy the freedom we have in Christ and device avenues to take away that freedom. You must know the truth and let the truth about Christ that you know be the basis for your freedom.

Am free in Christ.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
