God’s Peace Initiative Part III
Beloved, always remember that the Holy Spirit and Gods word are the two weapons made available by Christ to believers to ensure a victorious Christian living. Our scriptural focus for today states – Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. {Col 1:22 NLT}
Even though man was governed by unthinkable evil thoughts and actions, God did not wait for humans to see the need for a saviour, rather He came to humans in that helpless state and offered His Son as an eternal solution. He cared more for the reconciliation of humans back to Himself than humans ever wanted it, so in giving Christ to die in His physical body, He brought reconciliation between Himself and the entire human race. By the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, we were ushered into God’s own presence, no longer second class citizens on this earth. When Christ brought us into the presence of God, He destroyed permanently the dividing wall of sin and that of human mediators. Sin could no longer stop us from freely accessing the presence of God and we will also never need again any human mediator or spirit to enjoy Gods presence because we now have direct access to God in Christ.
Always understand that we all have equal access and right to God as His sons but we can only differ in the responsibilities He has given us to His body.
Christ gave you direct access to God.
