Faith and Works Part VI
The miracles of God are not contrary to nature because God is the one that created nature but they are only contrary to what humans know and think about nature. Our scriptural focus for today states – I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. {Gal 3:5b NLT}
Having established that no human can receive both the Holy Spirit and the miracles of God through the keeping of some rules and regulations, rather we can only receive these spiritual gifts from God by believing the message about Christ. It will be important to state that in this kingdom, there is always something to believe about Christ to bring God’s divine happening’s into human situations. In the body of Christ today, some Christians have been brought back to obeying the regulations of the law through what has been tagged – Prophetic Actions. Some of what is called Prophetic Actions in the church are the personal instructions of the Holy Spirit to the individual who has now made it a public doctrine for all, while the others are not scripturally correct. The believe that there is always something to do to receive anything from God, [that is a physical action that has been giving a spiritual outlook] is not scripturally correct. The Galatian Christians were deceived into believing this error, but Apostle Paul was only saying that both them and the people who taught them this new gospel were wrong.
Don’t be in the bandwagon of those who just wants a Breakthrough not minding if the process is against the balanced message of Christ. So much is happening in the church today through the spirit of error that Christians must be careful about what they practice.
Miracles are the privileges we enjoy in Christ.
