Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. {Phil 1:28 NLT}
When we as believers maintain the unity of purpose and faith, it is a sign that we are on the winning side and definitely the devil is on the losing side. Our scriptural focus for today states – Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. It will be very important to note that intimidation is one of the many strategies of the devil that is based on falsehood and is aimed at;
1. Instilling fear in the hearts of believers
2. It seeks to present the devil as more powerful than God
3. It tries to present an untrue picture of a situation. Etc
No wonder the Holy Spirit says – Don’t be intimidated in any way by your emeny the devil and his cohorts. The devil will always come up with circumstances and sometimes fabricate malicious lies against you as a believer with the aim of intimidating you to accept his verdict, in such situations ask yourself this question – Whose report will i believe, Gods report or the devil’s report?. Hear this – For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. {2Tim 1:7 NLT}
Nobody blindly runs into a spiritual battle, but than no true believer should for any reason avoid facing the enemy. The more you face the devil in battle and come out victorious, the more you become a better and matured believer. The more the devil and his cohorts oppose the gospel we have been called to both propagate and defend, the more they are setting up themselves for destruction and the more we are establishing our victory through God.
Don’t be intimidated – Be bold and win always
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you
