The Fruit Of The Holy Spirit Part VI

Beloved as you journey through life don’t allow people pull you into their storm, instead pull them into the peace you have from the Holy Spirit. Our scriptural focus for today states – But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. {Gal 5:22 NLT}
When a Christian lives daily in the sphere of God’s kind of love, he/she will equally experience joy – that inward peace and sufficiency that is not affected by outward circumstances. This spiritual optimism keeps a believer in Christ going even the face of the most difficult circumstance or the most beautiful achievement. God’s kind of love and Joy working together will produce Peace.
Peace is a spiritual gift from Christ to His dear children. Hear the words of Christ – I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. {John 14:27 NLT}. Peace is an inner spiritual repose and quietness, which defies human understanding.
The peace this world offers is dependant on circumstances, for instance – when the economic and political situations are going on well in a country, but Jesus says my peace is totally different from what the world is offering, He says my peace is not determined by any human situation whether favourable or unfavourable.
Jesus demonstrated the peace which He has and the same which He is offering to humanity today in Mark 4:35 – 41. A great storm arose and was threatening their lives as they were on a ship crossing to the other side. His disciples were terrified and secondly were bothered that their master cared less about their lives, because He was asleep in the mist of this dangerous storm. His peace was the solution to the storm and not the fear and anxiety exhibited by His disciples. He gave us His peace to be the solution to the storms of life when they come our way.

Peace is manifested by faith and knowledge.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
