Bearing Burdens Part VI
Beloved don’t allow what someone said about you that is not in line with Gods plan determine your destiny. Always remember and stand by who you’re in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. {Gal 6:2 NLT}
When you as a believer in Christ fails to show the love of Christ to other brethren and equally to unbelievers, it exposes your lack of understanding of the person of Christ and His law. The natural man wants to retaliate for every shortcoming/wrongdoing done to him/her by his/her fellow man, but the law of Christ is the direct opposite of this way of living. There is already so much pain, bitterness, sorrow and devastating circumstances in our world. Christ left you in this world after your salvation experience to set in order those things that are wanting in our world through the demonstration of His love and not to add to the pain in the world through acts of unforgiveness and bitterness.
The love of Christ has already been put in your heart by the Holy Spirit let that love determine all you do here on earth. The backsliding brother/sister needs the love of Christ to be restored back to the path of righteousness, please don’t join the devil in condemning such people.
The unbelievers who are currently being destroyed by the devil through sin needs the love of Christ to be brought to the path of truth and life. Do not allow any root of bitterness, jealousy or malice springing up in your heart becomes the hindering to you fulfilling the law of Christ.
Let the love of Christ lead your life.
