Christ Is The Head Part II
Beloved, Christ saved you to use you to advance His kingdom here on earth. Our scriptural focus for today states – They don’t keep themselves under the control of the head. Christ is the head, and the whole body depends on him. Because of Christ all the parts of the body care for each other and help each other. So the body is made stronger and held together as God causes it to grow. {Col 2:19 ERV}
Christ is not just the head of the church alone, He is equally the head of all principalities and powers. Therefore the primarily responsibility of every child of God is to be under the control of Christ who is the head of the church, His Body.
The whole Body(church) depends on Christ for its nourishment, guidance and life. So living your life outside of Christ is a very dangerous step, because you’re exposing yourself to the assault of the devil. It will be important to emphasis that as child of God, the more you depend on Christ for your daily living, the more you become like Christ and the less you depend on Him the less you become like Christ. Hear this – And our faces are not covered. We all show the Lord’s glory, and we are being changed to be like him. This change in us brings more and more glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2Cor 3:18 ERV)
The more you depend on Christ, the more you become like Him
