Don’t participate in the things these people do. {Eph 5:7 NLT}
It is clear from the scriptures, that no person who lives in disobedience to the principles of God will escape His judgement. Our scriptural focus for today offers this advice to believers – Don’t participate in the things these people do. The people been referred to here are false prophets/teachers, ungodly people, deceivers etc, who have secretly slipped into the Body of Christ and are teaching/preaching doctrines that pervert the Grace of God, and have also introduced practices that they call new revelations. The warming of God is clear to you today – Don’t participate in these things, it doesn’t matter the crowd, influence and acceptance these people and their new practices have gained, please heed the warning of God. Participating in false doctrine is very dangerous because it will influence your entire being, your spiritual life, beliefs and character will be based on a wrong premise.
To participate, is to own something, Don’t own the wrong things.
