The Message Of Christ Part V
Beloved, the message of Christ conferred on any human who believes and lives daily by it, the great privilege of also being a representative of Christ here on earth. Our scriptural focus for today states – And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him. {Col 3:17 AMP}
As Believers in Christ, because our life is no longer our own but Christ’s, we can no longer do whatever we want, the way we want it. The presence of the person of Christ in your life through the Holy Spirit has established His ownership over you. Always remember that Christ bought you with a price, in order that He may live the God-kind of life through you on this earth.
Let everything you do, both the words you speak and the actions you take be in total dependence on Christ and His principles. Especially in this season, when many people often misplace the purpose for the celebration. As you celebrate, ensure that it is Jesus Christ you’re truly celebrating, ensure that you will be giving glory to God for the person and purpose of Christ to the human world. Do not misplace the purpose of Christ with worldly celebrations that has nothing to do with the name of Jesus Christ.
Beloved whatever you do this season, do it in the name of Jesus Christ.
