Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names. {Phil 2:9  NLT}

Going by this wise saying – Behind every glory, there is a story, it is reassuring to know that if God is the one piloting your life, it will definitely be in glory beyond your expectations. Our scriptural focus for today states – Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names. The issue of elevation in any area of life is only made possible by God, that we see evidently displayed in the life of Jesus. His unwavering obedience, His perfect humility, brought Him to the place of Elevation, such that has not been bestowed on any human or spiritual being. Christ was given a Name that is above every other name, the reason for this is, before His death and resurrection, the name – satan/devil/Lucifer was the ruling/dominating name on the earth. After His death and resurrection satan lost that position permanently to Jesus.
His elevation began from His willingness to die for the sins of the whole world, which He was not a party to and God responded by setting aside the laws of creation and life to do that which was unimaginable through the resurrection of Christ. The kingdom of God is governed by principles that cannot be changed no matter who is involved. The earthly life and story about Jesus establishes that God will require the same commitment and compliance from all His children. Note that there are no sacred cows in this kingdom and the rules or process of elevation cannot be circumvented on the grounds of personal recognition.
Jesus submitted Himself to Gods requirements and the end product was Elevation, in this new year, make up your mind to always submit yourself to whatever will be Gods requirement for your life and We can assure you by Gods integrity, that your life will be decorated with glory and elevation.

Elevation to a place of honour is Gods gift to His children.
