The New Life Realities Part V
When we set our minds on things above, we will definitely live here on earth with the purpose of God as the main thrust of our human existence. Our scriptural focus for today states – For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. {Col 3:3 AMP}
Whenever a human acknowledges Christ as his/her Lord and Saviour, that decision is actually the outward show of his/her death to this world and it’s fallen state of life. So whenever God look’s at such individual, He also sees that such person is dead to sin and alive to the Righteousness in Christ.
Beloved if you have experienced the saving grace of Christ, note that you’re No longer a sinner as long as this world is concerned because your dead to sin and the devil. By your death, the devil and sin lost their hold over your life, because your New Life is hidden with Christ in God. This means that as long as you continue in the righteousness that is in Christ, the devil and sin can only get to you when they have conquered Christ and God, and this you know is Impossible.
Your new life is hidden in Christ with God.
