Stand In The Truth Part I
Beloved, it is your responsibility as a believer to ensure that your believe system, values and behaviours are not a product of the world system but the scriptures. Our scriptural focus for today states – But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it. {Col 1:23 NLT}
Being holy, blameless and faultless as you stand before God is not on the basis that you’re sinless or perfect on this earth yet but on the basis that the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you always from all sins because you live in the Light as He(God) is also in the Light.
The spiritual ability to continue to believe the truth that you’re holy, blameless and without fault in this world and continuously stand firm in it is based on how you have allowed the Holy Spirit to transform your mind and spirit, which enables you think and act like God.
The devil is working very hard in the church and in the lives of believers by subtly presenting some thoughts like – none is righteous, not even one, No one is perfect, We are fishes in the river so we cannot deny water etc, aimed at confusing the believer.
Beloved, do not give in to the confusing and misleading suggestions of the devil, its time to stand firm in the truth that established your holiness, blamelessness and faultlessness.
Believe the truth and stand by it always.
