We are in this fight together. You have seen me suffer for him in the past; and I am still in the midst of a great and terrible struggle now, as you know so well {Phil 1:30  TLB}

In this last days, there is a growing need for believers to stand in faithfulness to Christ and the message of the cross in their place of work, family, church and in the society at large. Our scriptural focus for today states – We are in this fight together. You have seen me suffer for him in the past; and I am still in the midst of a great and terrible struggle now, as you know so well. The Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul was reminding the Philippians that they were not alone in the persecutions they were experiencing because of their faith in Christ, he says – We are in this fight together. Many times when believers go through persecutions because of their faith in Christ and in the defense of the gospel, the devil comes with a strategy of discouragement by painting the picture that, we are alone in it and that God has abandoned us, or that our suffering is different, note that it is not true. Hear Gods advice – I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Apostle Paul also reminds the brethren that he is still suffering for the sake of the gospel even though he was in Rome. Knowing that other believers are sharing in the same spiritual battle that you are currently engaged in should be a source of encouragement and strength to keep going and have your focus always on the finishing line. Knowing that you’re not alone in any spiritual battle, remembering that the Lord and the brethren will always be with you should produce joy, consistency, cooperation and confidence in Christ. When the devil sees your absolute confidence in God, it makes him to be afraid of you.

Spiritual Teamwork is inevitable, If we must win this battle.
