Divine Strength For Victory Part II
Beloved, under the covenant of grace, Christ liberated every believer from every known and unknown curses, so live daily with the understanding that you’re totally free in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy. {Col 1:11 NLT}
Challenges in the different aspects of the earthly life of every believer in Christ is the stepping stone to greatest, therefore we must all labour through the strength of the Holy Spirit to develop the spiritual antidote to every challenge. Endurance and Patience are truly the spiritual antidotes for overcoming any challenge that will ever confront you. These two virtues helps the believer in Christ develop the consciousness that God is always with him/her in the face of any challenge. God made it very clear as He spoke these words – When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. {Isa 43:2 NLT}
Having the understanding that you are never alone in any challenging circumstance should birth Joy in your heart and spirit. It is only when you have developed endurance and patience, can you truly see God standing with you because you will go through situations that are beyond your human strength and you will come out with the song of victory and your mouth will be filled with great Joy.
The Joy of the Lord is your strength.
